I'm in that cycle now, where I write a fic and immediately must write the even filthier fic for my own gratification. But, to be fair, one of my Kink Bingo squares was kidnapping. And Neville Longbottom amirite.

I've resorted to - gasp! - keyboard writing lately. Not the same, but it is nice to not have all that typing-up to do later.

This is my admission: I don't obsessively check my own kudos, but after I rec something I go back and check to see if anybody on my flist actually went and read it. I swear it's not about me! I just want good fics to get the recognition they deserve!! XD

Ahhhhh, I do the same thing!! I check kudos on fics I really like and even get a little miffed on the author's behalf if they're not getting the love I think they deserve.

But yeah, I will admit to being an obsessive kudos watcher the first few days a fic is up. *blushes*

LMAO ahhhaha yeah... it's secure, but maybe not an ideal spot, no, and there have been a few... incidents. But, to be fair, that laptop is and has always been a total POS, so I feel like any accidental abuse is precious little payback in comparison to what Windows 8 has put me through. XD
