Claiming is open at
hp_crossgenfest now through July 6th!
I have my eye on a few prompts and feel torn between commitment phobia and not wanting to see them get away. Ahhghhh. BUT. It looks like my femmeslash prompt has already been claimed!!! If the writer is out there somewhere reading this...
Another fest that's caught my eye is the Wishlist Event at
rarepair_shorts. They're collecting wishlists through May 30th and open for fills all through June, July, and August. Laid-back, short fics, no obligation. I put in a wishlist yesterday and hope you will consider doing the same!

Date: 2020-05-25 11:46 pm (UTC)Totally feel you on not wanting to commit before being sure! Totally cool if you'd like to wait a bit to see if you have some proper inspiration--het prompts do tend to be less popular (sadly) so the chances of them being claimed are probably lower! But it's also meant to be a very low-stress fest, and the minimum is only 500 words so it's hopefully doable, but also meant to hopefully not be too stressful if you have to drop!
And yay rarepair shorts! I put in a wishlist this year as well and am hoping to do some fills. I've never done it before but it seems fun, and I love a rarepair!

Date: 2020-05-26 02:00 am (UTC)Ahh, you make me feel a little better about taking some time to decide. It is a generous word minimum and writing window and low stress overall, though, and I'd love to be a part of it.
I'm excited to see everyone's lists!
