This seemed like a good excuse to crochet. Like I needed one. XD

I can't think of red without thinking of Gryffindor! So here's a quickie Gryffindor coaster.





And while I'm at it... why not? A ranking of my top ten favorite Gryffindor characters:

9. Minerva McGonagall
8. Harry Potter
7. Sirius Black
6. Hermione Granger
5. All the Weasleys (yeah, I'm cheating here)
4. But I'm sure Percy would agree that he deserves his own honorable mention
3. And so does Ron because he is, after all, Our King

Ahhhh, I do love Cormac, but I could only pick 10 after all! Full disclosure: I rarely read or write fic about some of these on the list. But I adore the way they were written by JKR. Such beautifully complex characters, and so heartbreakingly tragic in many cases. All perfect embodiments of red to me.
